Security grants and federal grant management for nonprofits, schools and houses of worship.
We prepare application materials for the federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) and state security grants. After an award, we help organizations keep the records and controls the award requires. We also support a few other programs, such as FEMA disaster aid for private nonprofits.

Your organization reviews, certifies and submits its own application. The funding agency decides.
FEMA had not posted an FY2027 notice as of October 14, 2026.
Check FEMA's NSGP page and your State Administrative Agency for the current status. For FY2026, FEMA published the NOFO on June 24, 2026. Each state set an earlier deadline for nonprofit applicants.
FY2027 rules and limits may differ. Read the dated NSGP status guide.
Application preparation and award support, with a clear split of roles.
We prepare and organize the work. Your organization supplies the facts, makes the decisions, and signs and submits. The State Administrative Agency (SAA) or FEMA decides eligibility, cost allowability and awards.
NSGP grant writing
We draft the Investment Justification and budget, tie each project to a finding in the site's vulnerability assessment, and organize the required attachments. Your organization checks every answer and submits.
NSGP grant writingNSGP grant management
We help subrecipients track subaward conditions and organize the records for environmental review, procurement, reimbursement, reports, monitoring and closeout. Your organization keeps the official file.
NSGP grant managementState security grants
Some states run their own security grants for nonprofits or schools, with separate rules and deadlines. We prepare application materials where a state program fits your organization.
Federal award management
For other federal awards, we help organizations keep the procurement files, cost records and reports that the award terms and 2 CFR 200 require.
Disaster recovery and mitigation
We support private nonprofits in selected FEMA programs: Public Assistance after a declared disaster, and the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. Each program has its own eligibility rules.
Florida, and other states
For Florida applications, we prepare materials under FDEM's current instructions. In another state, we follow that state's SAA instructions. The organization controls its portal accounts and submits.
Florida security grantsApplication work and award management have different responsibilities.
The current notice and state instructions control an application. An executed subaward and the administering agency's instructions control award management.
Preparing a complete, current application
We prepare the materials. Your organization supplies the facts, chooses its projects and reviews every answer.
- The current NOFO and state instructions. Eligibility rules, allowable costs and how the SAA scores applications.
- Projects tied to the assessment. Under the FY2026 NOFO, the organization had to identify vulnerabilities and connect its proposed projects to them. Your organization selects its projects.
- The right funding stream. The site's address determines NSGP-Urban Area or NSGP-State. The FY2026 NOFO disqualified applications filed in the wrong stream.
- Registrations in place early. We explain the UEI, SAM.gov and state-system requirements. Your organization creates and controls its accounts.
- A budget built from real costs. An Authorized Equipment List code for each equipment line, with cost information your organization provides.
- The current year's forms. The FY2026 NOFO disqualified applications that used a previous-year form.
Meeting the conditions of the award
The subaward sets the conditions. We help your organization maintain the records and controls it requires.
- Environmental review before work starts. The FY2026 NOFO barred work on a project requiring EHP review until FEMA completed that review.
- Procurement records. 2 CFR 200 sets federal procurement standards. Your organization runs the procurement, selects contractors and signs contracts.
- Reimbursement requests. We organize the records behind each request. Your organization verifies each cost and submits.
- Reports and change requests. We draft them for your review. The SAA approves budget and scope changes in writing where the subaward requires it.
- Monitoring. We organize the records a state monitor may ask to see. Your organization answers questions and responds to any findings.
- Closeout and retention. We organize closeout materials. Your organization approves them, submits them and keeps the official records.
For award management, the executed subaward and the administering agency's current instructions control.
