Editorial policy

Bedrock Grants publishes security grant guides for general education. Current agency instructions and executed subawards control.

Updated

Who publishes the guides

Bedrock Grants is a commercial grant-writing and grant-management firm. We are not affiliated with or speaking for FEMA, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), or any State Administrative Agency (SAA).

Sources and dates

We favor current notices of funding opportunity, FEMA guidance such as the Preparedness Grants Manual, federal regulations in the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations, and state-agency materials. We link sources where practicable.

A guide's Updated date records its last substantive review, not real-time monitoring. Before acting, confirm the current notice, the SAA's instructions, and any executed subaward.

Field observations and confidentiality

Published field observations are generalized and de-identified. They omit client and prospect names, individual agency staff, award numbers, addresses, nonpublic documents, and facts that could reasonably identify a matter.

Companies and products

We do not endorse, rank, or recommend commercial brands or products. We name a company when a law or agency rule does and the name is needed for accuracy, as with Section 889 and 2 CFR 200.216. We may also identify the source of a public resource.

Corrections

To report a possible error, email info@bedrockgrants.com. Include the page URL, the disputed statement, and a supporting primary source.

The guides are not legal, financial, accounting, procurement, or award-specific advice. Current agency instructions and the executed subaward control.
